Dragan ("John") Rubezic is an experienced personal injury and wrongful death trial attorney who founded the Rubezic Law Group. He is a first-generation Montenegrin-American born and raised in the working middle class neighborhood of South Chicago where he learned the importance of hard work and perseverance at a very young age. John always had a passion for the law, knack for negotiating, and quickly became known as the neighborhood kid who was capable of persuading adults "to see it his way."
John graduated high school at seventeen, went to college at Southern Illinois University, and attended Valparaiso University where he simultaneously obtained a law degree and master's in psychology. John began his legal career working for one of the most prestigious and high volume personal injury law firms in downtown Chicago, the Vrdolyak Law Group, where he tried dozens of cases and arbitrated hundreds of matters, many against the City of Chicago. Thereafter, John founded the Rubezic Law Group in downtown Chicago where he successfully obtained countless settlements and favorable verdicts for his clients. Tired of the Chicago winters, John ventured West and moved his practice to Phoenix.
John's Chicago legal experience and fire has served him well in Phoenix's legal market where things tend to be slower paced as he is a force to be reckoned with. John's fearlessness and accessibility are just a few reasons why his clients love him so much.
John and Gordi are also the proud parents of daughter Eva and son Luka. During his free-time, John is an avid biker who has been riding motorcycles for twenty-four years. He is also fluent in Serbo-Croatian.
